Recycled Paper-

You may have noticed our tree counter on our website.  This is one way NorCal Shred helps people realize that their utilization of our secure shredding services directly correlates with natural resources conserved.  A recent study by Brigham Young University states: recycling one ton of paper saves an estimated 17 trees and 380 gallons of oil.  As we recycle more paper our counter will be updated and you can witness the impact.

“Climate Smart” Participant-

NorCal Shred is proud to participate in “Climate Smart”, a PG&E sponsored program, which allows businesses and residences the option of becoming climate neutral.  NorCal Shred commits an additional percentage of our monthly utility bill to help fund CO2 reduction programs.  Find out more at PGE.com.

Highly Efficient Shredding Equipment-

A key choice when deciding what equipment to utilize on a daily basis, was fuel efficiency.  NorCal Shred’s mobile shred truck, a Shredfast Model 300PTS, is powered by a class leading Mercedes Benz  MBE900 engine.  This engine allows us maximum fuel efficiency with minimum emissions, allowing a lower impact on the environment.
